Blitzen Trapper's latest album Destroyer of the Void, is another solid album from the Portland Oregon based band. With each album they grow into something new. From simplistic folk, to spacey guitars, to noise rock, to their more refined combination displayed on their most recent album Destroyer of the Void. Still, to me it sounds restless and still not a definition of where this band will eventually end up. They are a very Dylan-esque group yet modern like the Fleet Foxes with very Beck-ish lyrics at times. Keep an eye on these guys, I have a feeling their next album will be monumental.
