Mikey's Pick--Rue Royale

This husband wife duo have got me hooked with their acoustic mellow vibe. The two live in England, where I think they have gained an influence of British-pop which can be heard slightly in their music.  It makes for a great sound.  They recently released another album "Guide to an Escape."  It is very very good.  Flowing vocals and at times eerie melodies backed by a constant strum of the guitar and simplistic drumming: gotta love it.  They have packed up their kick drum and currently are touring world wide.  Go to their website for dates and to purchase the new album.
