Shaun's Pick--Land of Talk

Land of Talk is a Canadian indie-rock trio currently on the Saddle Creek label, the same label as other bands such as Bright Eyes and the Faint. For only having three people, they manage to keep the music interesting and I find myself getting lost in their songs and putting them on repeat. Their first album Some Are Lakes was also produced by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, and their latest album Cloak and Cipher features guest musician's from Stars and Arcade Fire.

One of their music videos was also nominated for a Juno Award in 2010 for the track "It's Okay." Below is a link for that video and a couple of their other amazing songs from their impressive debut and sophomore albums.
